Why is it important?​

OIL PAINTING 

  • Each painting in its process is unique. 

  • Students will learn the technique of oil panting on canvas. Oil paint is different from other types of paints. It dries slowly, and allows the students to blend and soften the lines and make it more realistic.

 

PRINTMAKING LINOELUM

  • Printmaking is the form and process of applying a work of art to another surface. Printmaking can be done on paper, but can also be done on fabric, plastic or other materials. 

  • Printmaking is important because of its unique techniques. 

  • Printmaking involves sketching first, carving the linoleum and then applying the ink.

(All supplies are included​)
