What is Art shuffle?
Adult Art Shuffle is truly unique – students of all levels work in a small group setting exploring the medium and subject matter of their choice. Students work directly with instructors to select projects that meet their skill level and interest. We work with you to build your “Personal Art Plan” that creates a sequence of projects that will help you develop as an artist.

Portrait Drawing

PORTRAIT DRAWING

Portrait drawing is important for artist of all times.

With regular pencil, our goal is to create skin, hair and other objects by using the correct pressure on the pencil.

Students will learn to crosshatch and shade in the right direction to create 3D image.

Portrait Painting

Most artist find portraits to be most difficult to draw or paint, this maybe because of not paying attention to differences in colors (hot or cold) and mid tones, which are as important as strong contrasts.

Students will learn about mixing correct colors and finding the correct tones.

Still Life Painting

STILL LIFE PAINTING

Students will learn how to proportionally measure objects from life, and translate the image onto a canvas.

How apply colors and blend them.

Still life is “simply” an arrangement of ordinary inanimate objects, natural or man-made, with a stable light source. It’s also a genre where the subjects, highlights and shadows all stay put and are controlled by the artist.
