Why is it important?

• Manga are comics or graphic novels created in Japan or by person using the Japanese language and conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century..

• This course will give students broad understanding of art and art history.

• Our classes are a detailed study in light, shadows and color.

• Clay stimulates the child's curiosity, and encourages more experimentation.

• Students will learn about Van Gogh's rolling and swirling brushstroke styles.

• Students will develop artistic skills with open-ended result.
